We are making a festive kale salad to celebrate the holiday season in our cooking classes.
Our chefs are mixing together the best ingredients of the season: kale, pomegranates, and apples to make this delightful combination come to life and inspire smiles and good health during this celebratory time of year.

Prep Time: 10 minutes Total Time: 15 minutes
- 1 bunch kale
- 2 pomegranates, seeds removed
- 2 apples
- Grated parmesan cheese
- 4 T lemon juice
- ⅔ c olive oil
- Honey to taste
Tear kale leaves from stems, and chop into small pieces, add to a large salad bowl. Cut the apples into small pieces, remove pomegranate seeds from the fruit. Set aside.
Create the dressing, whisking ingredients together. Pour over salad and massage well.
Place kale on a plate, and garnish your salad with pomegranate seeds and apple pieces for ornaments, and cheese for snow.
