Grocery List for a family of four

  • Salmon – 1.25 pounds (or your families favorite fish if not everyone likes salomon)
  • Butter Beans – 1 frozen 10 oz bag (could be exchanged for peas)
  • Corn – 1 frozen 10 oz bag
  • Prewashed, organic spring salad greens
  • Cucumber (seedless)
  • Grape tomatoes
  • Favorite salad dressing or use olive oil, vinegar, garlic powder, salt, pepper
  • Whole grain rolls – 1 package
  • Mac n cheese – Aimee’s mac n cheese variety of your choice – 2 boxes
  • Broccoli – fresh stalks – 2 or 3
  • All natural or organic chicken breasts – 2 pounds
  • For meatballs – either grass-fed beef or all natural ground turkey – 2 pounds
  • Extra Firm Tofu – if you are not having meatballs – 2 packages
  • Kale – 1 fresh bunch
  • Carrots – 1 package or bunch
  • Zucchini – 2
  • Onions – 3
  • Red bell peppers – 2
  • Italian plum tomatoes, with their juice – 1 can (35 ounces)
  • Ripe plum tomatoes – 1 1/2 pounds
  • Flat leaf parsley
  • Red Kidney beas – 1 ½ cups (or 15 oz can)
  • Chick peas (garbanzo beans) – 1 ½ cups (or 15 oz can)
  • Dill – this is for the chili – if this flavor is too strong for anyone, skip the ingredient
  • Lemons – 3
  • Sour cream
  • Monterey jack OR Cheddar cheese – to top the chili
  • Cilantro for chili if desired
  • Scallions or green onions – 4
  • Pesto – 1 container
  • Mozzarella cheese – 1 large ball
  • Beefsteak – 2 large tomatoes
  • Ciabatta bread – sliced for paninis or other favorite bread
  • Sweet potatoes or Yams – 2 large
  • Eggs – 1 dozen
  • Bread crumbs (gluten free is available) – 1 package
  • Marinara sauce – 1 jar
