Butter Beans maintains a 10,000 square foot commercial commissary kitchen in Long Island City, New York.  This state of the art facility was designed in 2021 to support our core values of maintaining a professional kitchen environment with strong operational efficiencies combined with kitchen and food safety excellence.  Our production is sustained by best in class, smart technology cooking equipment providing a quality food product for schools, camps, food insecurity agencies and other meal programs. Our commissary facility has a daily production capacity in excess of 45,000 meals.

 

With a built-to-scale business model, the commissary kitchen allows us to efficiently add new schools, leverage economies of scale, minimize waste and ensure strong quality control coupled with excellent customer service.
